Since 2008 visitors to the Waves of Flags installation on the Malibu campus have paused to reflect on the lives lost in the 9/11 attacks. On Friday, September 11, 2015, the expansive lawn of Alumni Park was once again home to the annual tradition that honors the memory of the 2,977 victims, with one flag representing the home countries of each person who perished that day.
